Olga Tacure, Executive Director

Olga Tacure is the Executive Director of Women Encouraging Empowerment, Inc. (WEE), a nonprofit serving immigrants, refugees, and low-income families by providing services, programs, and classes that support family economic mobility. Since joining WEE in 2019, she has led a period of transformational growth - expanding staff capacity, tripling reach from 200 to more than 2,500 individuals, and strengthening impact through new funding, community-driven initiatives, and strategic partnerships.

An immigrant Latina from Peru with a nursing background, Olga brings firsthand understanding of the barriers immigrant and low-income families face. She has played a key role in advancing systemic change, including co-developing the district-wide Family Engagement Policy (approved in 2021) and leading the successful 2024 revision of the local ordinance supporting family child care providers. Her civic leadership also includes service on the Revere High School PTO, the Revere Cares Coalition, and the city’s Master Plan Steering Committee.

Her work is rooted in the belief that collective action and community voice are essential to the success of the families WEE serves. Olga’s leadership continues to inspire investment, collaboration, and long-term impact—making WEE a trusted anchor and a powerful vehicle for change.
